Windows Based Application Automation
In this project, I collaborated with Xybion, a prominent SaaS provider specializing in life sciences and health systems. They entrusted our team with testing their enduring Windows-based software, Pristima, which boasts a legacy spanning over three decades. Our responsibilities included meticulously executing test cases and ensuring the accuracy of both Performance Qualification (PQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) reports. This project underscored Xybion’s commitment to delivering digital solutions that optimize workflows and ensure regulatory compliance, reflecting their extensive track record of serving a global clientele, including the top 20 biopharmaceutical companies.
In terms of automation testing enhancements, our team encountered challenges navigating the Pristima application’s elements and faced recurring issues such as scrolling difficulties, element identification, and data extraction from Excel sheets. To address these challenges, I spearheaded improvements by streamlining our codebase. Specifically, I developed a base page class where I consolidated repetitive methods, simplifying the process of accessing and extracting data from Excel sheets. This centralized base class was seamlessly integrated throughout our framework, resulting in significant improvements in efficiency and team performance.
